Terms and Conditions for Pet Pro Source

By accessing or using Pet Pro Source (the “Service”), you agree to be bound by these Terms and Conditions. If you do not agree to these terms, you are prohibited from using the Service. We reserve the right to modify these terms at any time, and your continued use of the site constitutes acceptance of those changes.

 

The Service allows users to post job openings, event listings, and other materials (“User Content”).

  • No Employment Relationship: Pet Pro Source is a platform, not an employer, recruiter, or headhunter. We do not guarantee that any job posting will result in a hire, or that any candidate is qualified for a position.
  • No Responsibility for Employment Disputes: Any agreement or employment contract made between a job seeker and an employer found on this site is strictly between those two parties. Pet Pro Source is not responsible for any disputes, salary issues, or workplace incidents.
  • Event Disclaimer: Pet Pro Source does not organize, host, or supervise the events listed in our calendar. Users attend and participate in all events at their own risk. We are not liable for any injury, loss, or damage occurring at an event found through our service. Event organizers are responsible for their own insurance and local safety compliance.
  • Accuracy & Legality: You agree that all postings will be accurate and in compliance with all local, state, and federal laws (including equal opportunity employment laws).

 

Pet Pro Source may offer premium (paid) listings for jobs and events.

  • Subscription Cycles: Paid listings may be billed on a recurring basis. Subscriptions automatically renew unless canceled before the renewal date.
  • No-Refund Policy: All fees paid for listings are non-refundable. Since the value of the listing (visibility) is delivered immediately, we do not offer pro-rated refunds for unused time.
  • Right to Refuse: We reserve the right to reject any listing that does not meet our quality standards.

 

We reserve the right, but are not obligated, to:

  • Verification: Request proof of a business license, insurance, or event permit before a listing is approved.
  • Removal: Remove or edit any content that violates these Terms or is deemed harmful to the community, at our sole discretion and without notice.

 

When using the Service, you agree not to:

  • Post fraudulent or “phantom” job opportunities.
  • Post events that promote illegal activities.
  • Scrape, crawl, or spider the Service to harvest data without express permission.
  • Harass or stalk other users through the platform’s contact features.

 

The Service is provided on an “AS IS” and “AS AVAILABLE” basis. Pet Pro Source disclaims all warranties, including:

  • The accuracy or reliability of any job posting or candidate profile.
  • The safety or legality of events listed by users.

 

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Pet Pro Source, its owners, and employees shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages, including physical harm or financial loss.

  • Liability Cap: In the event that Pet Pro Source is found liable, you agree that our total liability shall not exceed the total amount of fees you paid to us during the six (6) months prior to the event, or $100 USD, whichever is greater.

 

You agree to defend and hold harmless Pet Pro Source from any claims, damages, or losses (including attorney’s fees) arising from your use of the site, your violation of these Terms, or any dispute between you and another user (e.g., a dispute between an employer and a job seeker).

 

  • Governing Law: These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Iowa, United States.
  • Venue: Any legal action must be brought exclusively in a court sitting in Bettendorf, Scott County, IA.

 

If any provision is found to be unenforceable, the remaining provisions will remain in full force and effect.
